Probiotic products can literally be lifesaving for your goats.  When a goat goes "off-feed", it can become depressed and quickly get very ill or even die.  The direct feeding of live, viable microorganisms will help modify the delicate balance of the digestive tract bacteria.  These bacteria will quickly go to work and begin to regulate metabolic activity.  This will help improve nutrient absorption and the growth of desirable bacteria will help "starve" disease-causing bacteria.
